Ops mode basics

Open tese.io Ops inside tese.io Lite to see work orders, alerts and the maintenance calendar on your phone.

Ops mode brings the tese.io Ops maintenance console into the app, for work orders, assets and maintenance. This page covers getting in and around; the separate tese.io Ops guide explains the console itself.

Where to find it

Tap the mode switch at the top right and choose Ops ("Work orders, assets and maintenance"). The header changes to Ops.

Ops may not be available for your account. It only appears in the mode menu when your account has access to tese.io Ops.

The bar only shows the tabs your Ops access allows.

How to use Ops in the app

  1. Switch to Ops with the mode switch. The app signs you in to tese.io Ops with your tese.io account. If you see the tese.io Ops sign-in page instead, sign in there with your tese.io email and password.

  2. Tap a tab in the bottom bar to move between Overview, Work orders, Alerts and Calendar.

  3. Work in the page as you would on the web: open a work order, update it, and so on.

  4. Tap the Open in browser icon in the header to open the current page in your phone's browser.

  5. To leave, tap the mode switch and choose Lite.

Notifications from Ops

If notifications are allowed, Ops users get phone notifications such as Work order overdue, Work order due soon, New planned work order, Work order update and Ops alert. Tapping a work order notification opens Work orders; tapping an alert opens Alerts.

Good to know

  • Ops needs a connection. If the page cannot load you see "Network error. Please check your connection." with Retry.

  • Some console areas (such as planned jobs, approvals and settings) have no tab in the app. Use Open in browser or the web console for those.

  • If your Ops access is removed, the app returns you to Lite.

  • On Android, the back button goes back a page inside Ops. On Overview it closes the app; use the mode switch to go to Lite.

Common questions

Ops is not in my mode menu. Your account does not have Ops access. Ask your administrator.

The app keeps sending me back to Lite. The app confirmed you do not have access to Ops, or to that tab.

Ops shows an error. Check your connection and tap Retry. If it keeps failing, use Open in browser or contact Support.
